On Incorporating All-Natural Skin & Hair Care Into Your Daily Routine

It's not difficult to go all-natural with your skincare basics. Trusting nature with your complexion makes it easier than ever to attain naturally radiant skin! Here's our suggested skincare routine for day and night.

Step 1: Cleanse with our All About That Face Foaming Facial Wash that is made of 30% raw honey to glow your skin up, getting it ready for the day!

Step 2: Tone with witch hazel for oily skin, and rose water for dry, normal and combination skin

Step 3: Moisturize with our Fix-it Felix Serum, a lightweight facial oil that works great at sealing in moisture and nutrients from the honey in step 1.

Step 4: Slap on some sunblock and light makeup and have a great day!

Step 1: Remove makeup and impurities with our #nofilter Makeup Remover. Put a few drops on our Reusable Bamboo Fibre Pads and gently wipe face and eyes, rinsing with warm water.

Step 2: Tone with apple cider vinegar diluted in a 1:3 ratio with water. This is suitable for all skin types and works great at increasing radiance, reducing blemishes and tightening pores.

Step 3: Once or twice a week, use our Matcha Made In Heaven Brightening Mask to nourish skin from within. Mix our mask powder with honey, yogurt or water and leave on for 10 minutes, then splash water onto your face to thin the mask to an exfoliating scrub. Rinse off in circular motions to reveal soft, brightened skin.

Step 4: Moisturize with the I’m In Love With The Coconut Oil to protect your skin from the drying effects of sleeping in air conditioning!

#1 Skip double cleansing if you have dry or sensitive skin

Using both a makeup remover and a cleanser could strip your skin of its natural oils and irritate skin, exacerbating skin issues. Instead, use a makeup removing oil that cleanses and replenishes at the same time, like our #nofilter Makeup Remover, which is made of all-natural food grade oils that are gentle yet effective at removing makeup.

#2 Remove blackheads naturally

Pass on the harsh blackhead removal strips or the chemical creams that dissolve your blackheads. Instead, use the simple and inexpensive method of putting a few drops of honey on a lemon wedge and then rubbing it on your skin, leaving it on for about 5 minutes before rinsing off with cold water. Do this at night as lemon temporarily increases your photosensitivity to sunlight!

#3 Mask at least once a week

While regular face masks might provide great short-term results, use all-natural face masks to gradually improve the long-term underlying condition of your skin over time by creating a cycle of repair from within. Made from natural food ingredients, our Matcha Made In Heaven Brightening Mask is formulated with brown rice flour, artisanal matcha from Japan as well as rosehip powder to brighten, nourish and soften skin.

Been wanting to use coconut oil on your hair but not sure how to avoid ending up with an oily mess? Let us help you! Here are 3 awesome hair masks and treatments you can DIY with ingredients from the kitchen using our I’m In Love With The Coconut Oil.

Combine 2 parts honey and one part coconut oil and massage into hair from roots to ends. Leave on for 20 minutes and wash out. In addition to being great for dry, damaged hair and split ends, this recipe is great for soothing and moisturising the scalp.

Don’t throw out your overripe bananas! Mix a banana with a ripe avocado and a tablespoon of coconut oil. Leave in for 10-15 minutes and rinse off. Make sure to blend, not mash the banana to avoid stubborn chunks in your hair that wouldn’t wash out.

Give your hair a luxurious homemade hot oil treatment by combining coconut oil with pure vitamin E oil. Next warm the oil by placing its container into a larger container with hot water inside for 5-10 minutes. Apply onto hair lengths and wash out after 40 minutes.
